Junior React Native Developer

In this role, in addition to working with React Native daily you'll be working with our powerful server-driven UI framework that's at the heart of our business's success:

• Powers our entire shopping app and enables rapid iterations
• Drives sophisticated personalization at scale, delivering tailored content to each user
• Empowers our business teams to operate the store autonomously - dozens of operators and analysts make every day real-time updates without any further tech involvement

You can expect to work with a wide range of technologies within the JavaScript ecosystem, across the full stack!

Tricks of the trade

• Growth: Learn to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the entire business, get to work on increasingly challenging tasks and projects, and have ownership over your contributions
• Contribution: Work on our customer facing Picnic store, implementing new features on a daily basis, contribute to our React Native architecture and server-driven UI framework
• Collaboration: Collaborate with designers and product owners to create specifications for new features
• Our Tech: TypeScript and RxJS, React Native, Redux, Styled Components, Jest, Storybook

• You have (or will soon have) a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of full-time software development, and have worked with React, React Native, Typescript, or similar JavaScript frameworks
• Enthusiasm to work with a variety of technologies and a problem-solving mindset
• Hands-on experience with (unit) testing
• Experience working in a product-based company is a nice to have
• The willingness and flexibility to take feedback and learn from other developers
