Job description

The Data Insights Analyst will report to the Director of Finance and Support Services and be a member of the Support Services Team.

The purpose of this role is to enable Green Light Trust to gain a deeper understanding of why our unique nature-based support model achieves positive benefits for participants and to evidence our impact.

We are an ambitious organisation. Your work will shape the operational and strategic direction of GLT and help us to build a solid evidence base that has the potential to influence health and social care systems at a regional and national level.

This role is critical in supporting GLT's funding plans, maximising our reach and helping to change many more lives for the better across Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and oversee the systems and processes needed to capture essential data from our programmes and build a solid body of evidence that supports the impact of our work.

  2. Collect, clean, validate, and analyse datasets to ensure we can easily interrogate, robustly monitor and evaluate the quality and impact of our services and projects.

  3. Lead further development of GLT's new CRM system, processes and associated workflows, ensuring it is effective and fully supports and enables our ambitions for growth.

  4. Support and actively engage with a variety of joint research projects and external partnerships that will help improve our understanding of the demographics, geography, drivers and barriers that influence our ability to grow service provision.

Who We're Looking For:

Each year we support thousands of disadvantaged and marginalised adults, children and young people, using the power of nature to rebuild, reawaken and refocus their lives.

This new role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who genuinely wants to play their part in achieving positive social change. Your contribution will be vital in helping Green Light Trust to thrive and grow.

We're looking for someone who loves getting under the skin of things with a natural ability to translate complex data into simple concepts and models that help others understand the 'why'.

You're not only great with data but you're adept at translating this into insights that have the power to shape new concepts, strategies and influence systems and decisions that will have a positive impact on society and peoples' lives.

You'll need to be confident in communicating your findings to a variety of audiences; able to provide answers and offer challenge, backed up by sound knowledge and expertise.

You'll also need to be confident in using data visualisation with advanced excel knowledge and have experience of managing CRM systems.

Due to the nature of our work with vulnerable people, you will be asked to complete an enhanced DBS check and this role is subject to a 3 month probation period.

Green Light Trust is a value led organisation, so we'll be looking for someone who can live and breathe our values and ensure our teams are too.

At Green Light Trust, we are:

  • Accepting: We are here for everyone, no matter their background. Because all kinds of people need help, and we are kind to all kinds of people.

  • Curious: We create positive change by exploring why, sharing what we know and supporting each other.

  • Courageous: We are experts with bold ideas who recognise, do and advocate for what's right - even when it's difficult.
