IT Workshop assistant and CCTV Installer

• Assist in the assembly and testing of CCTV systems, including wiring, configuration, and troubleshooting, often at height on ladders.
• Support installation projects by preparing sites, running cables, and mounting equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to carry out hardware repairs on laptops such as screen changes and on desktop pc's such as motherboard changes, hard drive installation etc.
• Deal with customers via phone and in person regarding their repairs
• Collaborate with senior technicians to plan system layouts based on client requirements and site specifications.
• Maintain organised workshop areas, ensuring all tools and components are stored safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the maintenance of existing CCTV systems by performing routine checks and repairs as needed.
• Follow health and safety protocols during all stages of installation and workshop activities.

Do you have experience in Power tools?, We are seeking a dedicated IT Workshop Assistant and CCTV Installer to join our technical team. The role will be split between workshop and onsite work. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in computer/laptop repair and with some experience of running data cabling and installing CCTV Cameras. A full technical knowledge of CCTV is not necessarily required as you will be working with others but it is essential that the candidate is happy working at height, onsite using ladders and used to using power tools etc., * Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software and networking principles

• Mechanical aptitude with experience handling hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, drills, as well as power tools.
• Experience of using ladders and working at height
• Experience of working onsite
• Experience of dealing with customers both in person and on the phone.
