Job description
This is a new, technical hands-on role, with the intention of the position to be at the core of support for multiple business departments which subsequently service the wider team across our in-store, website and ticketing platforms.
After full training, the role will initially focus on implementing processes, suggesting improvements and analysing how we currently operate. This role is key for day-to-day business support, but also forward looking in terms of streamlining processes., * Create and document departmental processes to ensure they are as efficient as possible.
- Proactively review and suggest performance and system improvements across the business.
- Involvement in analysing and compiling data from analytical projects across the business (as and when required).
- Perform quality checks across in-store and online to ensure product information is complete, up to date and correct.
- Troubleshooting and ensuring physical equipment across the business is working as expected and then escalating (if required) to your Line Manager and then 3rd parties to resolve any issues.
- To support department requests via the shared EPOS Mailbox (including product and pricing uploads, multibuys and till screen adjustments)
- Ensure all the In-Store departments are fully supported and product change requests in our Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) systems are dealt in a timely manner.
- Assisting in stock counts, stock adjustments and helping with the annual stocktake.
- Admin support for our other platforms as required.
- Liaise with Marketing department for website and event information.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent Excel skills and have a high attention to detail and accuracy in prior roles. After an initial training period, candidates must be able to manage their own workload and be able to prioritise tasks based on importance and actively look for improvements that can be made in the department.
Previous experience in a systems-based support role is essential, as is a wider understanding of a retail business. This role is ideal for someone who is a team player with excellent communication skills at all levels and has a large variation of work, so no two days will be the same., * Experience in process development
- Demonstrable experience in business improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstratable ability to understand and learn new systems.
- High working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications - be comfortable with equations, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Ability to understand IT packages (Outlook, Excel, Word etc), * Experience of a similar role for a retail business.
- Experience in an analytical role.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
- Degree in subject area relevant to the role.

Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
