The Finance Team plays a vital role in maintaining financial integrity, ensuring the effective management, and supporting the organisation's wider objectives.
The team is focused on enhancing business processes, improving reporting capabilities, and supporting data-driven decision making across the organisation., We are seeking a Unit4 (Agresso) Systems Analyst to join our client's finance team. This is a key role responsible for supporting, maintaining, developing and optimising the organisation's finance system. The postholder will ensure the system operates effectively, supports accurate financial management, and contributes to continual process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the finance system, including user access, workflow management, chart of accounts, attributes and relationships.
Manage and respond to helpdesk queries, allocating tickets appropriately within the team, providing both 1st/2nd line support across Unit4 as well as other systems.
Act as the main contact for external system and support providers.
Lead testing activities for system updates, integrations and developments.
Manage system development priorities in line with organisational needs.
Support test scripts, UAT and regression testing.
Identify and address training needs within the finance team and wider organisation, preparing training materials and delivering sessions where appropriate.
Documentation of business requirements and support configuration changes.
Ensure that all systems and processes comply with legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements, including VAT and data protection.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, Experience of working with a helpdesk or ticketing system (essential).
Supporting Finance modules.
Experience of supporting or leading systems and process improvements.
SQL and Workflows.
Private sector finance process knowledge.
Stakeholder engagement.
Working knowledge of Unit4 and openness to learn other systems.
