Requirements

Do you have experience in Unity?, We are seeking a Unity Developer to join our small, friendly team in Milton Keynes developing simulation systems our clients. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Unity Developer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing interactive VR applications and simulations. Your expertise will help deliver engaging experiences that meet our clients' unique needs while working with cutting-edge tools and technologies.

This could be an ideal opportunity for someone starting out in this field who is looking to join a friendly, innovative company. The ideal candidate will have a background/interest in software development, a desire to create innovative solutions (and possibly an interest in trains, trams and light rail).

Responsibilities include coding, testing, and maintaining software applications to meet our clients needs. This role requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Ideally the successful candidate will reside fairly locally as the position is office-based in Milton Keynes, although occasional visits to client sites may be required. Initial salary dependent upon experience but is expected to rise for a successful team member.

Skills required

  • Develop high-quality 3D and 2D interactive applications using Unity engine
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to implement engaging UI/UX elements that enhance user experience.
  • Unity and C# experience
  • Knowledge of 3D maths
  • Would suit someone with all round games coding experience.
  • Linux experience useful, but not essential
  • Ideally follow Agile development methodologies using tools like Jira or Trello to manage tasks effectively within collaborative teams.
