Manufacturing Test Engineer

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Test Engineer with a strong background in electronics and fault diagnostics? We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team for an 18-month fixed-term contract, ensuring the highest quality standards in testing and production of Sonardyne products., * Conduct electrical, electronic, and tank test procedures throughout the production process, from component level to final assembly.

• Diagnose and resolve faults down to component level through adjustments or repairs.
• Perform basic assembly activities to support the testing process.
• Identify and escalate non-conformances, driving resolution through the appropriate channels.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with quality system requirements.
• Work collaboratively with departments such as Production Engineering, Quality, and Stores to resolve test-related issues.
• Utilize company IT systems (ERP, intranet) for stock searches, parts inquiries, and documentation.

Qualifications: HNC in Electronics or equivalent in an electronic discipline.

Experience: Proven track record of diagnostic fault-finding down to component level.

Skills:

• Proficiency with testing tools such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, power supplies, and timers.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
