Job description
As Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for 3rd line support of an automated logistic system, analyzing technical issues and providing long-term solutions for them. In detail, you will:
- Analyze existing processes, develop short- and long-term strategies for the company by incorporating Lean and other practices,
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional projects focused on operational efficiency and performance;
- Define measurable project standards and track outcomes;
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations;
- Design processes to support consistent system performance during shift changes, peak periods, and Disruptions;
- Maintain open and transparent relationships with customer and other vendor contacts to ensure maximum system performance;
- Standardize training and assessments to ensure process consistency and employee growth;
- Follow established escalation guidelines in the event of system downtime or irregular operation
- Conduct root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and process stability;
- Use performance data to drive continuous improvement in operations and team productivity;
- Collaborate with Maintenance to minimize impact during service activities and participate and lead (as necessary) team, site, and customer meetings to ensure open, effective communications centered on collaborative efforts to meet production goals.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Supply chain?, * Practical and theoretical (mbo-3/4) (e.g. mechanical / electrical engineering) working and thinking level ;
- An inquisitive mind, with an innate drive to identify root causes and design fitting solutions;
- Familiarity with automated material handling systems is a pre;
- Knowledge and basic skills in Lean Manufacturing and Project Management;
- Strong understanding of automated material handling systems;
- Familiarity with basic logistics and supply chain principles;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and workload;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Knowledge of Safety guidelines;
- Basic Knowledge of PLC programming;
- Good command of English is a must, knowledge of Dutch, German or Spanish is a pre.

- starting salary between €3300 and €4200 gross per month depending on experience.
- full time position (38 hours per week) in a day shift.
- Travel allowance up to 100 km per day.
