Job description
- Own and continuously evolve the TechOps operating model as Moss scales
- Define and implement automation-first approaches to identity, access, device, and workplace management.
- Ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and cost optimization across systems.
- Establish clear service levels and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive pragmatic process improvements without overengineering.
Secure Infrastructure & Identity Ownership
- Own Google Workspace, MDM (Jumpcloud), IAM, and core workplace infrastructure.
- Ensure scalable onboarding/offboarding processes with strong security integration.
- Partner closely with Security to ensure controls meet audit and regulatory requirements (ISO27001, SOC2, DORA).
- Maintain clear documentation and accountability for all critical systems.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical and identity-related topics.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead and develop a high-performing TechOps team.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and structured development plans.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Balance hands-on involvement with strategic delegation.
Vendor, Budget & Tooling Strategy
- Own vendor relationships and licensing strategy for TechOps-related tools.
- Drive cost transparency and optimization across workplace infrastructure.
- Continuously evaluate and rationalize the TechOps tool stack.
- Support budget planning and capacity forecasting aligned with company growth.
Risk, Audit & Governance Interface
- Act as primary TechOps contact for internal and external audits.
- Ensure alignment with internal security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, Finance, and People.
- Proactively identify operational and identity-related risks and implement mitigations., * Hands-on Strategic Leader: You stay close enough to the systems to understand them deeply, while elevating the function through structure, automation, and clarity.
- Clear Communicator: You build trust across teams and stakeholders through transparency, responsiveness, and ownership.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Scripting?, * Proven experience leading and developing small technical or IT-focused teams, ideally in fast-paced or scaling environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in technical operations, workplace infrastructure, and identity management.
- Experience building scalable operational models rather than just maintaining systems.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and regulatory environments.
- Coding or scripting skills (e.g. Python) are a plus.
- Fluent in English.
