Technical support Electronics

We are a recently incorporated subsidiary of an Italian Gate Automation manufacturer, selling our products into the UK Access control and security installer market. Our parent company was founded in 1967 and have a great pedigree and reputation for producing well engineered and long-lasting products.

Do you have experience in Technical support?, We are looking for an outgoing, ambitious, willing and dedicated individual with some technical experience or interest in Electronics to help manage our internal operations.

You will need to have a great telephone presence to be able to deal with incoming enquiries, be computer literate in order to generate sales documentation and with a technical leaning, preferably in the electronic, Electrical sector in order to provide some level of first line technical support and advice. The role is extremely varied and involves the day to day managing of all of the tasks expected within a growing company, so a real can do attitude is required.

Based within an easy commute of Glenfield the individual would need to be trustworthy and reliable and possess great attention to detail when dealing with customers. The individual would need to be fit as there will be some heavy lifting from time to time., * Proven experience in technical support roles specialising in electronics or Electrical products

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation purposes.
• Ability to work independently whilst maintaining a high level of customer service orientation.
• Flexibility to undertake varied tasks
