Job description
FutureProof is looking for a highly skilled, creatively minded Project Manager to be the operational heartbeat of our growing agency. In this role, you are the "Engine Room." You're not here to just keep the lights on, you're here to make sure everything runs brilliantly. You'll manage the studio's day-to-day operations, lead and develop our internal team, keep projects moving, and help us tell the FutureProof story to the world. You'll work closely with our Account Manager and Strategist to make sure great work gets out the door, on time, every time.
What You'll Be Doing
- Studio Operations: Owning the day-to-day running of the studio, managing workflows, resources, and schedules so the team can do their best work without the chaos.
- Project Management: Taking projects from brief to delivery, keeping timelines tight, flagging risks early, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Team Leadership: Managing, mentoring, and motivating the studio team. You'll be the person they come to, and the person who brings out the best in them.
- Marketing Champion: Leading and executing FutureProof's own marketing activity, from content and social to campaigns and brand presence. We practice what we preach, and you'll help make sure we do it brilliantly.
- The Connector: Acting as the bridge between creative output and operational delivery, working hand-in-hand with the Account Manager and Strategist to keep clients happy and the team focused.
- Creative Ownership: You'll be the creative anchor for the fulfilment team, leading, supporting, and elevating design output across a broad mix of client accounts.
A Day in the Life
- 09:00 - Arrival & Set-up: You're in early, coffee in hand, reviewing the studio's project board and flagging anything that needs attention before the day kicks off.
- 09:30 - Team Stand-up: You lead the daily stand-up, giving the team clarity on priorities, surfacing any blockers, and making sure everyone knows what "winning today" looks like.
- Morning Momentum: You check in on active projects, liaise with the Account Manager on any upcoming client deliverables, and keep a close eye on deadlines. Nothing slips past you.
- The Review: You sit down with a team member for a one-to-one, checking in, giving feedback, and making sure they have everything they need to thrive.
- Marketing Focus: You carve out time to work on FutureProof's own marketing, scheduling content, reviewing campaign performance, or briefing creative assets. This is your chance to show what you can do.
- End of Day Wrap: You update the project board, flag anything outstanding for tomorrow, and make sure the team finishes the day clear on what's next.
