Job description
Working for Brooklands Driving Experiences Ltd. at Mercedes-Benz World as part of the IT team, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting and developing the IT infrastructure across all operational areas of the building. This includes supporting office systems, contact centre operations, driving experience systems, retail areas, event spaces and general IT support across the brand centre.
Strong technical knowledge, organisation and communication skills are required to ensure all systems operate efficiently and securely. Using a collaborative work approach in a team environment, you will be responsible for maintaining high technical standards and ensuring minimal disruption to the customer and employee experience.
Outstanding troubleshooting ability and a proactive mindset are essential. You will act as a key point of contact for IT-related issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring that staff across all departments are fully supported.
Following training, you will support the IT Team Leader in delivering ongoing system improvements, infrastructure upgrades and cybersecurity best practices to ensure Mercedes-Benz World continues to operate to the highest standard., * Provide first and second-line technical support to staff across all departments
- Provide AV and event technology support, including setup and trouble shooting of audio-visual equipment and audio mixers
- Maintain and support network infrastructure, servers and wireless systems
- Install, configure and maintain hardware and software
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of business-critical systems
- Manage user accounts, permissions and access control
- Perform regular system updates and backup
- Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, system rollouts and new technology implementations
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and asset registers
- Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity and company IT policies
- Respond to and resolve incidents in a timely and professional manner
- Undertake ad hoc IT tasks and provide additional support where needed as per business needs

Experience
- Previous experience in an IT support or IT engineering role (minimum 2-3 years preferred)
- Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Knowledge of network infrastructure
- Relevant IT qualifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) or equivalent preferred, * Do you have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in an IT Engineer or equivalent role?
- Do you hold relevant IT qualifications or certifications?
- Are you located within a reasonable commuting distance and able to work on-site regularly?
