Website Editor

We're looking for a Website / Sub-Editor to help maintain the quality and consistency of our print and digital content., * Sub-edit and fact-check articles to ensure accuracy, correct grammar, spelling and house style.

• Improve copy for clarity, structure, readability and flow.
• Write compelling headlines, standfirsts and captions.
• Edit and upload stories using our CMS, ensuring correct formatting and layout.
• Select and arrange images appropriately for print and digital.
• Work closely with the editor and designers to meet production deadlines.
• Stay informed on sector developments and ensure content reflects industry trends.

Do you have experience in Journalism?, Essential Skills & Experience:

• Excellent written English and strong attention to detail.
• Sub-editing or copy-editing experience in publishing, media or a related field.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.
• Comfortable using CMS platforms and digital editing tools.
• Good communication skills

Desirable:

• Knowledge of copyright and digital publishing practices.
• Degree in English, Journalism, Media or related discipline.
• Experience editing technical or industrial/engineering content.
