Job description

We're looking for a Senior IT Portfolio Manager to lead our AI, Automation & Data portfolio. In this role, you'll partner with business and technology teams to turn ideas into measurable outcomes. You'll help prioritise initiatives, guide delivery, and ensure we're investing in the right AI, data and automation capabilities to support Arm's strategy.

This is a collaborative role that blends critical thinking with practical execution. You'll work across data, engineering, architecture and business teams to bring clarity, structure and momentum to a growing and evolving portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to shape and prioritise AI, data and automation initiatives.
  • Translate business demand into clear roadmaps and portfolio plans.
  • Oversee initiatives from discovery through delivery and transition to operations.
  • Support governance across the AI and data lifecycle, including risk, compliance and responsible use.
  • Coordinate multi-functional teams, handling dependencies and removing barriers.
  • Track value, outcomes and budget performance across the portfolio.
  • Provide clear, concise updates to interested parties at all levels.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SAFe?, * Experience running complex IT portfolios, programmes or projects in enterprise environments.

  • Exposure to AI, data platforms, analytics or intelligent automation initiatives.
  • Confidence working across both agile and structured delivery models.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build trusted partnerships.
  • Experience managing risk, dependencies and budgets across multiple initiatives.
  • Clear communicator who can simplify complexity.

"Nice To Have" Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with data platforms, AI/ML lifecycle practices or automation tools!
  • Experience supporting governance, data quality or responsible AI practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MSP, Prince2, Agile, SAFe).
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence or MS Project!
