Assistant Technical Analyst (Fixed Term)

To assist the Department in achieving its objectives and goals, you will have responsibility for developing and researching outputs and projects for research groups in academia and industry to support the effective delivery of research activity, while also contributing to external reports and grant proposals under the supervision of the line manager. Additionally, you will be responsible for small project budgets relating to IT, software support and travel expenses.

Do you have experience in VBA?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, You will have an undergraduate degree in a related subject, or have an equivalent level of practical experience, and possess software skills in modelling specialist areas such as UI/UX, Python, MATLAB and Excel VBA. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to demonstrate that you are a team player as well as having the ability to work independently. You will possess technical knowledge and experience in relevant technical and scientific fields as well as have previous analytical and data analysis experience.
