- Apply machine learning, statistical, and mathematical techniques to solve business challenges
- Extract and analyze data from multiple sources; create visualizations and insights
- Propose strategies and solutions to business problems
- Manage multiple data science projects and coordinate model deployment with developers/QA
- Research new technologies, tools, and methods for innovation
- Represent Eastnets externally at webinars and conferences
- Maintain information security and comply with company policies
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, Do you have a Master's degree?, We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist to support our Fraud, Financial Crime, and Compliance Risk initiatives. This role spans the full data science lifecycle-from data extraction and exploratory analysis to model development, deployment, and stakeholder communication. You will collaborate with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams, contributing to real-world solutions and customer demos., * Graduate in STEM; MBA or data science certifications are a plus
- Strong programming skills in Python or other mainstream data science languages
- Knowledge of supervised learning, clustering, forecasting, NLP, and time series analysis
- Experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, neural networks, SVM, social network analysis
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience in financial services, fraud detection, or compliance solutions is advantageous
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; adaptable and agile
