IT Infrastructure - Storage & Backup Specialist

In this role, you ensure reliable, secure, and efficient backup and storage operations across our IT landscape. You manage our storage & backup platforms, support daily operations, and contribute to system optimization and documentation., * Operate and maintain Veeam B&R, Veeam ONE, deduplication appliances, and HPE tape systems.

• Monitor daily backup processes and perform restores when needed.
• Keep documentation for configurations, procedures, and recovery workflows up to date.
• Support file-sharing services (NFS, SMB) and contribute to NetApp storage administration.
• Work closely with VMware and Linux teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot backup and storage issues and ensure timely recovery.
• Follow security and compliance requirements and contribute to regular recovery testing.

• Strong technical foundation and a hands-on mindset, ideally supported by formal training.
• Completed education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in backup or storage administration.
• Solid skills with Veeam B&R, Veeam ONE, and enterprise storage systems (EMC, NetApp, HPE).
• Good knowledge of NFS/SMB, VMware, and Linux.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative approach.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with cloud or hybrid storage, knowledge of compliance standards, and certifications (Veeam, NetApp, EMC, HPE, Linux).
