System Engineer

You will play a key role in ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and high performing while collaborating closely with internal IT teams., * Design, deploy, and maintain server and network infrastructure

• Monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software performance issues
• Configure and optimize server hardware and operating systems
• Implement security measures including patching, firewalls, authentication, and encryption
• Monitor system and service performance metrics
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure hardware and software
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure stable and reliable infrastructure
• Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans

• Experience administering Windows and Linux environments
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience troubleshooting server hardware and infrastructure issues
• Ability to support user devices such as label printers and barcode scanners
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
