Job description

With a team of around 25 people and a collaborative engineering culture, the organisation is now looking to bring in an additional Mid-Level Developer to support the next phase of platform development and modernisation., You will join a small and collaborative development team working on the next generation of the company's core platform. The focus of the role will be helping to rearchitect and modernise the existing System while contributing to new features and improvements as the product evolves.

Working closely with the Director and product team, you will play an important role in delivering a more scalable and modern platform while supporting junior developers within the team.

This is an opportunity to join a company at a key stage of growth where your work will directly influence the future direction of the platform.

The technology environment is primarily Microsoft focused and includes:

C# .NET / .NET Core JavaScript MySQL AWS (EC2, RDS, S3) Azure DevOps / Git

Requirements

Experience developing applications using C# and .NET technologies Strong understanding of object oriented programming and clean coding principles Experience building or working with REST APIs Comfortable working in a collaborative development team Experience using source control such as Git Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

Experience working on SaaS platforms or within regulated industries would be beneficial but is not essential.

WeDo is partnering with a growing Bristol based software company that provides specialist SaaS platforms to organisations within the insurance sector. The business is at an exciting inflection point following recent investment through its parent group. This investment is being used to expand and modernise its product suite, including the redevelopment of its flagship product.
