Python Tooling Developer - Senior Consultant

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation tooling that supports engineering workflows.
• Build robust, maintainable, developer-facing tools used across internal development processes.
• Refactor and improve legacy or poorly structured Python code to enhance maintainability and reliability.
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds, testing, and validation.
• Manage and improve GitHub-centered development workflows, including automation through GitHub Actions.
• Ensure deterministic and reproducible builds across development and CI environments.
• Work with structured data formats such as JSON and YAML, including schema design, validation, and change detection.
• Integrate automation tooling with internal and external services through REST APIs.

• Min 6 years of professional experience in Python development, including work on large, long-lived codebases.
• Strong experience designing modular and extensible architectures for developer tooling and automation systems.
• Advanced proficiency with Git and GitHub-based development workflows.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows.
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve flaky or non-deterministic CI failures.
• Experience working with JSON and YAML, including schema design and validation.
• Experience implementing data comparison and diff logic.
• Strong experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience managing dependency pinning and version compatibility across projects.
• Knowledge of secure secrets management practices within CI/CD environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is an advantage.
