Job description

  • You work 4 days per week as a Data Engineer at one of our partner organizations, where you design, build and optimize data pipelines that are actually used by the business.
  • Every Friday is dedicated to your growth: advanced training sessions, technical deep dives and project support from experienced Tech Leads, with a strong focus on data modeling, cloud data platforms, reliability and best practices.

  • After successfully completing the first year, you transition into direct employment with the client, fully equipped to operate as a mature and impactful Data Engineer.

As a cloud engineer you will work together with other medior- and senior team members on challenging projects for our clients. Sometimes you ll write software alongside your product development colleagues. At other times, you ll build the systems those developers need, such as load balancers and backups, preferably in a way that makes it easy to share them with other systems. Every so often, you'll apply existing solutions to new problems.

Besides this, you like to focus on automation of software development process, like to manage large-scale and scalable cloud environments and like to take care of the facilitation for security and system administration

From a personal perspective, you are customer focused and have a strong can-do mentality. You focus on results, have a desire to complete challenging tasks and learn while doing. Next to this, you have:

A technical bachelor s or master s degree (e.g. computer science, cloud computing, software engineering)

2-4 years of work experience as a cloud engineer

Preferably already some experience in one of the major cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS)
