Job description

  • Ensure good communications across the project teams and regularly brief other team members, on new and emerging technologies and lessons learnt.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of current and emerging ICT related technologies.
  • Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods and techniques where appropriate, improve build ability and reduce whole life costs.
  • Ensure all design solutions (where applicable) offered by designers and sub-contractors fully comply with the project documentation and budget strategy.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain and specialist trade contractors to provide technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Holds or is able to obtain trade registered qualifications including Site Safety Management Certification.
  • Experience in writing and understanding methods statements and risk assessments.
  • Experience and knowledge of industry recognised Performance Testing and Commissioning.
  • Experience in forecasting and projecting budget costs through the project life cycle.
  • Experience in the installation and integration of CNS Installations with a knowledge of material specifications and industry working practices.
  • Understanding Digital Assets, and the naming and smart Enablement of Building Control and Automation Systems.
