SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Procurement Consultant - 3 months possible extension - 2 days per week on site Nottingham minimum rest hybrid - £675 per day inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Procurement Consultant to support the Realise phase of an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation programme.

The role will focus on configuring procurement processes, supporting system integration testing, resolving defects, and ensuring that procurement functionality aligns with the approved solution design. The consultant will work closely with solution architects, finance teams, integration specialists, and business stakeholders to ensure the Procure-to-Pay solution is built, tested, and ready for deployment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Solution Configuration

. Configure and refine S/4HANA Public Cloud Procurement (Source-to-Pay) functionality. . Implement the approved design from the Explore phase Fit-to-Standard workshops. . Configure core procurement processes including: Purchase requisitions Purchase orders Goods receipts Invoice verification Supplier master data . Ensure configuration aligns with Clean Core principles.

2. Support Build & Realisation Activities

. Support the build and configuration of procurement processes within S/4HANA Public Cloud. . Work closely with integration teams to ensure procurement processes integrate correctly with: Finance Supplier systems Reporting solutions . Identify configuration issues and propose solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

3. Testing & Defect Resolution

. Support the execution of: System Integration Testing (SIT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) . Investigate and resolve defects related to procurement functionality. . Work with technical teams to resolve integration or data-related issues. . Ensure all procurement test scenarios are documented and validated.

4. Data & Master Data Validation

. Support validation of procurement-related master data including: Supplier master data Purchasing organisations and groups Material master data . Work with data teams to resolve data migration issues impacting procurement processes.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

. Work closely with procurement stakeholders and subject matter experts to validate system behaviour. . Provide guidance on system capabilities and best practices. . Support business users during testing and validation activities.

6. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

. Maintain configuration and process documentation. . Ensure test evidence and defect resolution documentation is captured. . Support knowledge transfer to operational support teams., Key Deliverables The consultant will be expected to deliver:

. Configured procurement functionality in S/4HANA Public Cloud . Completed SIT and UAT support . Resolved procurement-related defects . Updated configuration and process documentation . Procurement solution readiness for deployment

This temporary contract is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices

Essential

. Hands-on experience configuring SAP S/4HANA Procurement (Source-to-Pay). . Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud procurement configuration. . Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementation programmes in the Realise phase. . Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes. . Experience supporting System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing. . Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.

Desirable

. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud procurement configuration. . Experience integrating SAP Ariba or other procurement platforms. . Experience working in UK public sector or local government environments. . Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM for defect and test management.
