Project Manager, Implementation

1. This position is responsible for leading the business project under Contract Logistics Organization.
2. To ensure under the direction of the implement project plan that the job holder successfully achieves the implement targets for all project activities
3. To ensure effective and efficient project delivery. Projects include (but are not limited to) new business implementations; organic growth projects; site consolidations / migrations; Warehouse Management System (WMS) migrations / implementations and other large logistics projects as required
4. Execute the project activities in line with the project management methodology to achieve successful project.

Key Tasks

1. Manage the overall project planning, controlling, status reporting stability and project delivery.
2. Strongly work with project team members to deliver project within agreed budget and timelines.
3. Identify and manage the risks, issues and changes of the project and ensure the resolution or mitigations are implemented with well control.
4. Build strong relationships and demonstrate leadership to gain trust with key project stakeholders and customers
5. Effective collaborative and cross function working for project planning, timely status, resources, quality of tasks and budget control.
6. Able to motivate and influence customers, team members to gain agreements
7. Ability to work autonomously, prioritize projects, and multi-task to stay organized.
8. Effective communication style and channels to influence senior stakeholders, customers and associated vendors.
9. Escalates the key project stakeholders timely.
10. To ensure governance of all responsible Projects Implementations within area of responsibility.
11. To assist in the development of quality logistics proposals for potential clients by agreeing the scope and timing of the proposal with the client, gathering and analyzing logistic data, applying standard pricing principles to logistics cost base, writing a solution document and assisting presenting it to the potential client.

Educational background / Work experience

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field
2. Minimum of 5 - 10 years working experience in Project Management or Logistics field.
3. Managerial experience of large-scale operations with people from different cultures backgrounds.
4. Good understanding in warehouse and transport operations.

Language skills

1. Proficient in English both written and spoken

Computer literacy

1. PC literate and application of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
2. Understanding in Warehouse Management Systems and ERP.
