Job description
Our client is one the leading specialists in the manufacture & supply of building envelope products. They have over 40 years experience and have developed an excellent reputation for innovation, quality and service. Due to expansion they are now looking to recruit a design engineer to join their team based in West Sussex, You will be responsible for designing & detailing rainscreen cladding products for bespoke projects, drawing general arrangement layouts and detail sections, concept details and manufacturing drawings and schedules. General arrangement drawings will be produced using AutoCad 2D or Revit and 3D engineering software such as Solidworks. You'll be taking full ownership of the design of the project, through GA preparation and issue, client approval, full manufactures drawings and schedules for the issue to production,whilst liaising with the technical manager and account managers to obtain clear specifications.
Requirements
A commitment to continual improvement, demonstrable experience on Autocad and be methodical, organised, and have excellent attention to detail. You will need good communication skills, be willing to take the initiative, and have a desire to make a vocational contribution to your new company
