Job description

  • Gather and understand business requirements from key stakeholders.
  • Support functional analysis for the creation or modification of finance and customer-related applications (mainly SAP).
  • Act as a key player in the FI-CO, FI-CA, and SD modules for:
  • Financial process management and invoicing.
  • Managing interfaces (Mulesoft, Idocs, web services).
  • Handling master data (customers, suppliers, business partners, general accounts).
  • Managing interactions with other SAP modules and third-party applications (Salesforce, ARCO).
  • Estimate workload and costs for changes, propose solutions, and assess impact.
  • Ensure service continuity, maintain solution quality, and update documentation.
  • Develop test plans, supervise testing, ensure quality, and manage deployments.
  • Monitor and resolve incidents as second-line support.
  • Actively participate in projects related to changes in the FI-CO, FI-CA, and SD modules.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Customer, and IT departments.

Requirements

  • Academic background in IT, economics, industry, or science.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a functional analyst.
  • 5+ years of maintenance and configuration experience in SAP FI-CO, FI-CA, or SD, with willingness to learn other modules.
  • Experience integrating with other SAP modules (MM, PS, HR, I-SU) and debugging.
  • Fluent in Dutch or French, with passive understanding of the other.
  • Knowledge of the energy sector and S/4 HANA is a plus.
  • Key skills: listening, conceptualization, communication, customer orientation, structured, autonomous, team player.
