Join our IT architecture team in Zürich, shaping tech evolution. Enjoy a collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth., Our central IT architecture team, currently with just under 20 employees, shapes the evolution of technologies, platforms, and cloud services used within Zürcher Kantonalbank in close collaboration with our stakeholders. Among other things, this lays the foundation for the bank's technical innovation and resilience. In our central enterprise IT architecture, you take on an advisory and controlling role in shaping our IT landscape. Your tasks
- Advising stakeholders on the use of technologies as well as on technical architecture (e.g., regarding the recoverability of critical bank functions)
- Developing target images and technology radars for the strategic further development of the IT landscape
- Preparing decision templates for the IT Architecture Board (e.g., regarding technology standards)
- Developing proposals for the CIO meeting to streamline the deployed technology portfolio
- Managing the lifecycle of technologies and platforms
- Supporting stakeholders in the transition from non-standard to standard technologies, etc.
- Maintaining and further developing data-driven architectural approaches
Requirements
- Degree in (business) informatics or relevant experience required.
- Experience as an enterprise IT architect in finance.
- Strong knowledge of cloud and on-premises technology solutions., * Completed education or training in (business) computer science or comparable professional experience
- Several years of experience as an enterprise IT architect in complex IT landscapes in the financial services sector
- Experience with modern architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), capability-based modeling, and working in agile environments (e.g., with SCRUM, SAFe) is an advantage
- Broad know-how about on-premises and cloud infrastructure technologies, IT solutions & reference architectures
- Knowledge of key technologies in these areas (e.g., Azure Services, hyper-converged server infrastructure, Kubernetes, application servers, DB technologies, etc.)
- You score with your intrinsic enthusiasm for understanding and solving tasks and IT solutions as a whole
- Very good German skills (at least C1)
