This role requires being onsite at our London office four days a week. ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end merchandising strategy for the Quince U.K./EU website and mobile apps, ensuring a seamless and inspiring customer experience. Manage and optimize merchandising tools and platforms that power product discovery, personalization, and site and app performance. Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, and Data teams to align onsite experiences with seasonal campaigns, assortment shifts, and brand priorities. Partner with global teams to ensure improvements to tooling, automation, merchandising best practices can be easily adopted in the region as well as improving our key metrics. Drive best practices in product storytelling, cross-selling, and navigation to improve engagement and conversion. Partner with Engineering and Data teams to implement content automation, metadata structuring, and semantic optimization that improve site crawlability and ranking in AI search results. Stay ahead of evolving SEO landscapes (Google's SGE, OpenAI's search integrations, etc.) to ensure Quince ranks prominently in next-generation search ecosystems. QualificationsRequired:12 years of experience, with at least 8 years in ecommerce, digital merchandising, site optimization, or growth/SEO, and 3 years leading a team. Proven track record of an end-to-end customer journey across web and app for a high-volume consumer brand. Experience leading a merchandising or digital experience function for an international or multi-market business and strong localization expertise. Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using A/B testing, web analytics tools (e.g., GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel), and experimentation platforms. Advanced knowledge of SEO foundations: metadata, internal linking, site structure, schema markup, crawlability. Strong understanding of UK/EU ecommerce consumer behaviour, online buying patterns, seasonal trends, and regulatory considerations. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience leading a design-forward team that is obsessed with pixel-perfect craftsmanship. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 4 days onsite at our London office is required. Preferred:Personalized customer experience across multiple channels. Ability to speak several languages (French, German, Spanish). Demonstrated experience applying AI tools. Track record of success in fast-scaling, high-growth environments, ideally in direct-to-consumer (DTC) or omnichannel commerce. Familiarity with search & merchandising tools (Bloomreach, Algolia). Familiarity with SEO platforms (Botify, Semrush). Familiarity with A/B testing tools (Optimizely, VWO) and product analytics tools (Looker, Tableau).
