The Performance and Insight Team's role is to question, influence and provide understanding to make life better in Coventry.
The Insight Team collects, analyses, interprets and publishes a wide range of insights about the city, and engages with residents, communities and partners to champion a culture of evidence-based decision-making across Coventry.
Activities undertaken by the Insight team include:
- Business intelligence
- Customer and location intelligence
- Engagement and consultation support
- Evaluative research
- Performance management
- Partnership working
- Providing advice and guidance on equalities and diversity issues and ensuring the Council discharges its Public Sector Equality Duty, We are looking for a Business Intelligence and Insight Analyst to join the Performance and Insight Team supporting Adult Social Care Commissioning and Public Health Services. You will be working withing a very busy, innovative, and forward-thinking team that works together with Adult Services to bring positive change to the lives of people in the city.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Adult Social Care Commissioning, Public Health and related reporting systems and performance frameworks
- Research, data analysis, and ICT skills, including the ability to extract, interpret, and present complex data clearly
- Ability to use BI tools such as Power BI and SQL
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals
- Experience in a similar analytical or performance reporting role (local authority experience is preferable)
- A relevant degree or equivalent vocational experience in a data, research, or analytical field
