We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Digital & E-commerce to lead our digital initiatives and online sales platforms. This role involves overseeing the development and execution of digital marketing strategies, managing e-commerce operations, and driving growth through innovative online campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics. - Oversee the management and optimisation of e-commerce platforms using WordPress, ensuring a seamless user experience and high conversion rates.
- Lead content creation, including copywriting for web pages, blogs, and promotional materials, ensuring consistency with brand voice.
- Manage digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads and other platforms, analysing performance metrics to maximise ROI.
- Utilise Google Analytics and other analysis tools to monitor website traffic, user behaviour, and campaign effectiveness; prepare detailed reports for senior management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive branding across all digital channels.
- Manage a team of digital marketing specialists, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Organise project timelines using project management tools to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the organisation at the forefront of digital innovation.
Requirements
Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Proven management experience within digital marketing or e-commerce environments.
- Strong expertise in SEO optimisation, Google Ads campaigns, Google Analytics, and email marketing platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for content creation; experience with Microsoft Office Suite (WordPress, PowerPoint, Excel) is essential.
- Demonstrable skills in analysis and organisational management; ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills in English; capable of crafting compelling copy for diverse audiences.
- Experience in social media management across multiple platforms with a focus on B2B marketing strategies.
- Leadership experience with a track record of managing cross-functional teams effectively.
- Familiarity with IT systems relevant to digital operations; strong time management skills are essential for prioritising tasks efficiently.
