Overview The Role: Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Support Manager within our Engineering Department. The role is to ensure the smooth and effective operation of all business functions across the curriculum area. We promote excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in everything we do, ensuring high-quality support structures that enhance both staff and student experiences.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate core business functions across the engineering curriculum area, including planning, student recruitment and forecasting, data and registry management, and HR compliance.Embed efficient and compliant business processes across all sections to support decision-making and ensure alignment with KPIs.Monitor progress and ensure robust compliance, including mandatory obligations such as Health & Safety, GDPR, and student records.Provide high-level administrative leadership, including supporting exam board preparation and contributing to UKVI Tier 4 processes.Drive a culture of continuous improvement, contribute to the leadership of the curriculum area and translate business objectives into effective operational plans.Build strong communication channels with internal and external stakeholders-including employers, students, and colleagues-and ensure key actions, deadlines, and business requirements are understood and met.Why Join Us At B&FC, you'll be part of an innovative, supportive, and forward-thinking environment dedicated to academic and operational excellence.
