Job offer

The selected postdoctoral researcher will conduct advanced research in computer vision and deep learning applied to health, wth a focus on data-centric deep learning, generative models (e.g. diffusion), multimodal learning and medical image analysis.

Main responsabilities:

• Design and implement DL/CV methods for health applications (segmentation, detection, classification, representation, etc)
• Develop and evaluate generative and multimodal approaches.
• Prepare/curate large-scale datasets and run experiments on computational infrastructure.
• Publish in top-tier conferences/journals (e.g. CVPR/ICCV/NeurIPS/MICCAI; Q1)
• Contribute to competitive grant proposals (national/international) and, if applicable, co-supervise students., According to the specific requirements and selection criteria, the candidates are expected to provide al least the following documents:

Skills/Qualifications

PhD in Computer Science/Mathematics/Electrical Engineering or related;

Track record of publications in relevant conferences/journals.

Good communication skills Specific Requirements

Strong background in deep learning and computer vision.

Experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow

Knowledge of transformers, diffusion/generative models, multimodal learning

Experience with large-scale datasets; scientific writing and teamwork in international settings

Languages ENGLISH, Computer science, * Technical experience in DL/CV and tools (max. 20)

• Motivation letter and fit with the group (max. 20)
• Experience in DL development and/or applications (max. 10)

Contract: temporary, full-time (37,5 h/week), 1 year renewable, Gross annual salary: 30000€, A full time work contract (37,5 h/week) 1 year renewable. 22 days of vacation
