Job description
As a DevOps Engineer - Technical Application Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining, improving, and migrating critical applications used across the asset management domain. You will work in a self-organizing Agile team, collaborating closely with IT departments and stakeholders to ensure high system quality, reliability, and performance.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days per week on-site in Heerlen (Monday & Wednesday), with a workload of up to 32 hours per week., You will be part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team of approximately 12 professionals, covering expertise in:
- Business Analytics
- Test Coordination
- Functional & Technical Application Management
- Software Development
The team operates in an Agile environment, working closely with internal IT partners to deliver high-quality solutions., * Maintain and support business-critical applications from a technical perspective
- Contribute to application migrations (including TLM migration initiatives)
- Manage technical incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Perform risk and security management in collaboration with IT teams
- Support lifecycle management of applications and systems
- Work with both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Design and implement monitoring solutions in an Agile way
- Drive continuous improvement and automation across systems and processes
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service quality
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar DevOps / Technical Application Management role
- Strong experience with application migrations
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills
- Experience within asset management or financial services environments
- Ability to design and implement technical monitoring solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in Dutch and English (spoken and written), * Hands-on experience with TLM (Triple'A Transaction Lifecycle Management)
- Knowledge of Corporate Actions and Reconciliation processes
- Understanding of front-to-back asset management operations
- Experience with Java and JBoss
- Familiarity with cloud technologies
- Experience working in an Agile/SAFe environment
