Job description
You'll be part of a specialist engineering team responsible for delivering robust, secure, and automated Linux platforms. Your work will directly support large-scale migrations, platform modernisation, and the adoption of new technologies across a complex, highly regulated environment., * Developing automation for provisioning, configuration, patching, and compliance
- Troubleshooting complex OS, performance, networking, and security issues
- Driving platform standardisation, engineering best practices, and operational improvements
- Supporting major upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives
- Collaborating with architecture, cloud, and security teams
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Experience with RHEL 7/8/9
- Deep understanding of Linux internals, SELinux, networking, and storage
- Experience with Automation Platforms
- Knowledge of Red Hat Satellite for patching and lifecycle management
- Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python
- Experience working in secure, regulated, or large-scale enterprise environments
