Data Architecture Lead - Job Description

The Data Architecture Lead holds full responsibility for the design, construction, and evolution of the company's data ecosystem, building a modern and unified platform where data is treated as a strategic asset. The role ensures data quality, availability, and business value, and serves as the technical reference point for all matters related to data architecture and data stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Platform Modernization Lead the migration of the corporate data warehouse toward a cloud-based architecture, ensuring quality, security, efficiency, and availability across all data domains.

  2. Data Architecture Define data models and establish architectural patterns that support a robust, scalable, and continuously evolving data platform.

  3. Data Engineering Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and distribution processes, applying quality rules and building reusable data models that guarantee data reliability and availability.

  4. Adoption of Artificial Intelligence in the Data Ecosystem Promote and support the integration of AI and machine-learning capabilities across data processes and use cases.

  5. Business Support Provide technical guidance to business teams, enabling effective access, interpretation, and use of corporate data.

  6. Team and Talent Management Lead and develop the data architecture and engineering teams, fostering collaboration, specialization, and continuous improvement.

Profile Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Telecommunications, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading data architecture or data engineering teams in cloud environments, including experience with AI/advanced analytics initiatives on corporate data platforms.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
