Job description
The role is a software engineering role within our biggest project to date, the F126 ships for the German Navy. FüWES (Führungs- und WaffenEinsatzSystem) is the command system consisting of TACTICOS with an integrated, newly developed Fire Control solution. The development and integration of all subsystems onboard the ship, is what FüWES is all about. It accounts for the complete development cycle of products and solutions: from concept definition to system design, continuing to system integration and validation, up until the inclusion of delivery onboard the customer vessels. With the complete solution, we enable this new generation of frigates for the German Navy to have the necessary information to Defense Operators in time and to make the right decision within seconds., In addition, you act as a mentor/coach beyond your own scrum team, for other (junior/medior) scrum masters in FüWES and other scrum teams. You disseminate best practices, you initiate and lead improvement actions for your own and other scrum teams, which contribute to a higher software development efficiency., * Continuous Integration & Delivery

- Provide advice to engineers and project managers on engineering environment and practices
- Act as a mentor to encourage apprenticeship, continuous improvement and feedback culture
- Sharing knowledge within the Software community (news, video, forum,…)
- Contribute to the capitalisation and continuous improvement of Software best practices and service offers (running training sessions, guidelines, create support for Kata/Dojo, …)
- Support the Head of Discipline to co-create and follow team performance and quality KPIs
Requirements
- Graduated at least Bachelor level, preferably in the area of software engineering or similar;
- At least 10 years of recent, relevant professional experience with Scrum and being a Scrum Master;
- Software Coaching., * You have a Master's degree from an Engineering University (Aeronautical/Space Engineering, Computer Science…), and you have significant experience with coaching.
- You are recognized as a team player and enjoy collaborative work (co-engineering).
- You are an effective communicator.
- You are a mentor willing to share knowledge.
- You are considered as problem-solving.
- You sound convincing and persuasive., * You have a good technical culture, especially in Software development (SOLID, TDD, DDD, clean code, per / mob programming…), continuous improvement and training.
- You have knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, XP, feature team, Advice process.
- You are a team leader with strong abilities to influence and guide teams while promoting constructive confrontations and challenging attitudes.
- You are able to help a team to tackle human, organizational and technical challenges to reach team excellence.
- You can set up an environment where trust and transparency are key pillars.
