Job description
We are hiring an IT Lead to design, secure, and operate the internal technology infrastructure that powers the company.
You will be responsible for owning and running the entire internal IT stack, ensuring that our systems are secure, organised, auditable, and scalable as the company grows.
You will work directly with the Founder and leadership team to build a modern, Apple-first technology environment with strong governance and security controls.
What You Will Own
You will act as the internal technology architect and administrator for the company.
Manage and secure all company devices:
- Apple MacBooks
- iPhones
- employee devices across UK and international teams
- asset tracking and device lifecycle management
- device provisioning and onboarding
You will implement and manage:
- Apple Business Manager
- Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- device security policies
- remote device administration
- remote wipe / recovery
- system backups
You will manage the company's identity and access architecture.
Responsibilities include:
- creating and managing company email accounts
- password management systems
- identity and access controls
- secure authentication systems
- staff onboarding and offboarding permissions
- enforcement of least-privilege access
You will also implement:
- password vault / secrets management
- security policies
- audit logs
- multi-factor authentication
You will operate the company's internal knowledge infrastructure.
This includes:
- Microsoft 365
- SharePoint
- OneDrive
- file permissions and folder governance
- company documentation structure
- data retention policies
Your job is to ensure documents, governance records, and operational files remain structured and auditable.
You will manage all company SaaS systems including:
- Attio CRM
- email marketing platforms
- analytics tools
- productivity systems
- automation tools
Responsibilities include:
- system configuration
- permission structures
- data backups
- integration management
- vendor coordination
You will support the company in maintaining strong internal compliance standards.
Responsibilities include:
- data protection governance
- security configuration
- device and data security policies
- secure data storage and access controls
- assisting with compliance preparation (NHS / regulatory / investor diligence)
The company operates across multiple countries.
You will ensure systems work seamlessly for:
- UK team
- India engineering team
- external collaborators
Including:
- VPN architecture
- secure file sharing
- cross-border collaboration tools
- network security
Key Projects You Will Lead
- Implement company-wide MDM system
- Deploy Apple Business Manager infrastructure
- Create a secure password vault and identity architecture
- Design the internal knowledge system inside SharePoint
- Build device lifecycle management
- Establish backup and disaster recovery protocols
- Design internal IT security policies
What We Are Looking For
You are a hands-on technology operator who can run a modern company IT environment.
Ideal experience includes:
- Apple device ecosystem administration
- Mobile Device Management platforms
- Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration

Experience supporting startups or scaling technology companies is highly valued., * Explain exactly how you would remotely manage, secure, and wipe a company MacBook used by an employee in another country.
