To support that change, we're hiring a Finance BI Analyst who can turn complex financial data into clear, visual stories the business can trust. You'll build the dashboards and data models that give teams a single view of performance, partnering with both Finance and IT to bring structure, consistency and automation to our reporting.Position type: full-time, permanentHours: 37.5 hours per weekShift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the Finance team and IT (Business Information) to ensure business needs are clearly understood and effectively delivered.
- Translate finance and wider business requirements into clear technical specifications and reporting solutions.
- Support the design, development and continuous improvement of finance systems, reports and dashboards.
- Build, maintain and enhance dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency and accuracy across all financial and business reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation and insight for finance and the wider business.
- Participate in the testing, validation and rollout of new data models, system changes and reporting enhancements.
- Assist in standardising and harmonising the enterprise data model to drive a single, consistent version of the truth.
Requirements
- Advanced Power BI skills.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end financial business and accounting processes and systems (and how to make them meaningful for non-finance users).
- A knack for 'storytelling with data' to bring it to life through the creation of reports and dashboards.
- ERP literacy and how transactions flow into spreadsheets/Power BI.
- FMCG/manufacturing experience - comfortable with SKU-level analysis, BOM/costs, price/volume/mix.
- Excellent stakeholder skills; clear written/visual communication.
Desirable:
- Specific food manufacturing exposure.
- Knowledge of QAD ERP system.
- Knowledge of Jedox financial reporting system.
