Together, we make space for people and businesses to thrive. Main purpose of the position We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Global Asset Management team. This role is pivotal in leveraging data analytics to optimize asset management and maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be proficient in Tableau and Power BI, with strong expertise in data management principles, SQL, and/or Oracle, and a deep understanding of asset management principles. The Senior Data Analyst will drive data-driven decision-making to enhance operational efficiency, asset performance, and strategic planning for the Facility Management (FM) Maintenance team. Key expectations: To work closely with our internal ISS stakeholders & customer to turn data into critical information & knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. It is essential to build an understanding of the business at a level of detail that enables this role to manage data analytical initiatives & use data to identify critical issues & put forward ideas to Engineering operational teams to drive cost efficiencies, business process improvements & innovation. This will be achieved by building strong working relationships within the Global Engineering Function, Global Knowledge Centre (GKC) & all key ISS & client business managers for the GKA Banking Sector client. What you'll do: Data Visualization and Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to provide actionable insights into asset performance, maintenance schedules, and operational metrics. Asset Management Support: Apply asset management principles to analyze equipment lifecycle, maintenance costs, and downtime data, ensuring optimal asset utilization and reliability. Data Management: Implement and maintain robust data management processes, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and security across FM systems. Database Querying and Analysis: Write complex SQL and/or Oracle queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources to support maintenance strategies and operational goals. Data Integration: Collaborate with IT and FM teams to integrate data from various sources, including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), IoT and smart building technology platforms and other enterprise systems. Performance Optimization: Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in maintenance operations through advanced data analysis and predictive modelling. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with FM Maintenance team leaders, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions. Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements based on data insights to improve maintenance workflows, reduce costs, and enhance asset longevity. Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to team members on data visualization tools, data management best practices, and asset management principles. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all data practices comply with ISS organizational policies and industry standards, maintaining high standards of data governance. Requirements
related industries. Extensive experience in designing and deploying dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI. Strong background in data management principles, including data quality, ETL processes, and data governance. Hands-on experience with SQL and/or Oracle for querying and managing large datasets. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and reporting. Expert knowledge of SQL and/or Oracle for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g., Tririga and Maximo) is highly desirable. Experience with data integration tools and techniques (e.g., APIs, MS Fabric, Azure Cognitive services). Knowledge of predictive analytics or machine learning is a plus Certifications (preferred): Tableau Desktop Certified Professional or Power BI Data Analyst Associate.
