Be Doing Prototyping & R&D: Fabricating "First-of-Kind" products from technical drawings. Youll be testing tolerances, checking fitment, and providing feedback to the design team on "manufacturability." Testing & Certification: Building precision samples for air, wind, and water testing to ensure our systems meet industry standards. Field Problem Solving: Occasionally heading onsite to investigate technical issues, providing hands-on fixes and feedback to prevent future occurrences. Driving licence required. Training & Mentorship: Developing "Best Practice" guides and leading training sessions for our fabricator internal production teams on how to fabricate and install our systems correctly. The Ideal Candidate Aluminium Expert: Deep experience with architectural aluminium systems (curtain walling, windows, doors, or storefronts). (PVC fabricator would be considered.) A Technical Mind: You don't just follow a manual; you understand why a system works. You can read complex technical drawings and spot a potential issue before the saw touches the metal. The "Teacher" Gene: You are patient and clear when explaining technical processes to others. Solution-Oriented: When a profile doesn't fit or a seal leaks, you don't just report it - you help find the fix. IT: Experience in the use computers would be an advantage.
