Our client are a global leader in power and grid technology. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering major High Voltage AC/DC substation projects that support the global energy transition. You'll be responsible for leading technical input into complex bids across projects including HV AC substations, HV DC converter stations, offshore wind, battery energy storage, and green hydrogen.The Role:As the lead engineer during the tendering phase, you'll work alongside bid managers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop technically robust and competitive proposals for high-voltage substation projects.You will play a critical role in shaping solutions for HV AC and DC substations, ensuring technical designs align with client requirements and support successful bid strategies.Responsibilities:Lead the technical preparation and submission of bids for HV substation opportunitiesProvide expertise in substation design and primary plant engineeringCollaborate with commercial teams to develop optimised technical solutionsAnalyse customer requirements and recommend suitable equipment and system configurationsPrepare technical documentation including scope, schedule and cost inputsDevelop technical specifications for equipment and servicesWork across engineering disciplines including protection, control/SCADA, telecoms and meteringSupport solutions involving substation integration and OT cyber security considerationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar relevant qualifications)10+ years' experience in engineering or customer application engineering within
