IT Support Engineer

• End-to-End Technical Ownership
• Take responsibility for incidents, requests, and small projects from start to finish.
• Escalate complex issues when appropriate, but maintain oversight and drive resolution.
• Document steps, communicate clearly with clients, and follow through on commitments.

2nd-3rd Line IT Support (Remote & On-Site)

• Deliver expert support across Microsoft 365, Synology, Windows, and macOS environments.
• Perform on-site visits for installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and client relationship building.
• Provide proactive recommendations to improve client systems and security.

Networking (Essential)

• Support and maintain a number of large client networks, including switches, firewalls, VLANs, and Wi-Fi systems.
• Troubleshoot routing, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, connectivity issues, and performance problems.
• Assist with network changes, upgrades, and documentation.

Microsoft 365 & Cloud Administration

• Manage and troubleshoot M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD/Entra.
• Support identity, access, and security best practices.

Synology NAS Support

• Configure and support Synology NAS systems: storage management, backups, permissions, monitoring.

Project Work

• Lead or support small to medium technical projects such as migrations, hardware rollouts, cloud enablement, or network improvements.
• Work closely with senior engineers to deliver larger project elements.

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in macOS?, We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with a minimum of three years' hands-on IT experience, ideally within an MSP or similarly fast-paced environment. This role combines remote support, on-site visits, and the opportunity to take genuine ownership of technical solutions and small projects.

As a smaller MSP, we value engineers who can own a process end to end, use escalation appropriately, and ask for help when needed-but who naturally take responsibility for driving problems to resolution. Personality and communication skills are essential, as our clients view us as an extension of their internal team, and your relationship with them forms a key part of our service., * Minimum 3 years' IT support experience (MSP preferred but not essential).

• Strong skills with Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, and Synology.
• Networking experience is essential, including switches, routing, VLANs, DHCP/DNS, and firewalls.
• Confident in managing your own workload and taking ownership of outcomes.
• Excellent communicator with a friendly, approachable manner.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Full UK driving licence ideal
