Requirements
requirements and engineering best practicesRequirementsEssential- Degree or equivalent experience in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline- Experience designing and implementing electrical systems for instrumentation, automation, or laboratory equipment- Strong understanding of extra-low voltage electrical systems including protection, grounding and control integration- Experience with PCB design, embedded systems and firmware development- Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensors, actuators and mixed signal systems- Experience producing schematics and electrical documentation using ECAD tools- Ability to communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teamsDesirable- Experience building or commissioning prototype systems- Experience managing external suppliers or contractors for engineering builds- Experience working with laboratory automation or medical device systems- Knowledge of fluidic or thermal systems including pumps, valves, motors and sensors- Experience supporting engineering risk assessments or compliance testing- Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira or Confluence Similar jobs
