Principal Database Engineer (Oracle SQL/PLSQL - Exadata

Seeking professionals who are true database application developers with experience building and developing application logic on Exadata, such as performance engines, compliance engines, or other core and complex business logic within the database using collections and Smart Scan techniques, not just handling large-scale data movement. Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience required.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata engineering, including performance optimization for Exadata-specific capabilities such as Smart Scan, Storage Indexes, Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC), partitioning, and parallel query execution.
• Deep expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.
• Proven experience with Oracle database architecture and administration concepts.
• Expertise in diagnosing and tuning database performance bottlenecks across SQL, PL/SQL, storage, and infrastructure layers in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) and writing automated tests for database and application code.
• Experience writing automated tests for database code following ATDD practices.
• Experience working in an Agile software delivery environment with exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
