Job description
We are seeking an IT Access Administration Analyst to support identity and access management across enterprise systems and applications. This role is responsible for administering user access, managing Active Directory environments, maintaining NTFS permissions, and ensuring secure and compliant access across the organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with access provisioning, troubleshooting user access issues, and supporting security and compliance initiatives within a Windows-based enterprise environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity requiring the ability to work 100% onsite and eligibility to permanently work in the United States., * Administer user access in Active Directory, including account provisioning and de-provisioning
- Manage Exchange distribution lists, mailboxes, calendars, and conference room resources
- Maintain and manage NTFS folder structures and access permissions
- Enforce and monitor Active Directory password and security policies
- Troubleshoot and resolve user access and identity-related issues
- Generate reports on user access, permissions, and group memberships to support audit and compliance activities
- Monitor and review system logs and access activity to ensure security standards are maintained
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve access controls and strengthen application and file system security
- Assist with documenting access management processes, policies, and security standards
Requirements
- Experience with Active Directory administration, including user provisioning/de-provisioning and group management
- Hands-on experience with identity and access management (IAM) and user access governance
- Strong understanding of NTFS permissions and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
- Experience troubleshooting user access and identity-related issues in a Windows environment
- Familiarity with enterprise security practices and audit/compliance requirements related to access management
- Experience working with Windows infrastructure, servers, or enterprise IT environments
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
- Experience with Azure, SailPoint, Microsoft Teams, or SharePoint security administration is a plus
- Security or identity-related certifications (Security+, CISSP, CIAM, CIGE, CAMS) are preferred but not required
