Job description
- Design, build, and maintain blockchain infrastructure and solutions tailored to the operational and compliance requirements of government agencies
- Serve as the primary technical lead and subject matter expert on all things blockchain, distributed ledger, and data integrity
- Oversee and mentor the current engineer, serving as the senior technical voice on the team
- Partner directly with founders to shape the technical roadmap and align platform capabilities with client needs
- Work closely with the sales team to support technical demos, RFP responses, and solution scoping for law enforcement, homeland security, and AG office clients
- Evaluate and recommend blockchain frameworks, protocols, and third party integrations
- Ensure solutions meet the security, compliance, and performance standards required by government procurement and agency stakeholders
- Represent the company at government and industry events as a technical thought leader
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands on experience designing and deploying blockchain solutions in enterprise or government environments
- Deep knowledge of blockchain frameworks including Ethereum, Hyperledger, Solana, or similar
- Experience building solutions for law enforcement, national security, or government agencies strongly preferred
- Background in smart contracts, distributed ledger technology, tokenization, and cryptographic protocols
- Comfortable operating in a fast moving startup environment and working directly with founders
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical government stakeholders
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, APIs, and system integrations
Benefits & conditions
$200,000 to $300,000 TOTAL compensation (base salary + bonus + meaningful equity)

This is a newly created role that will serve as the technical backbone of the organization, working directly with the founders and overseeing the current engineering team.
