Job description

We are seeking a dedicated School Data Manager with essential experience in SIMS to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate school data, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring compliance with data protection standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in teaching or education administration to contribute to the smooth running of our school's data systems. The position is paid and suitable for those committed to organisational excellence and data integrity within an educational environment., * Manage and update student information using SIMS software, ensuring data accuracy and completeness

  • Support administrative staff and teaching staff with data-related queries and reporting requirements
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies at all times
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for senior leadership, governing bodies, and external agencies
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting deadlines and school policies regarding data management
  • Provide training or guidance to staff on the use of SIMS where necessary
  • Support the organisation of school census, admissions, attendance, behaviour, and assessment data
  • Contribute to the development of efficient procedures for data collection, storage, and retrieval

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teaching?, * Proven experience working with SIMS software (SIMS Essential experience is mandatory)

  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations relevant to educational settings
  • Experience or understanding of teaching environments is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a school or educational setting is advantageous but not mandatory
