VIE - Data Analyst / Engineer

"IT Data" is one of the 4 IT divisions managing the IT landscape and projects of the company. It is a team of 45 Data Engineers, BI Engineers, Data Analysts, Project Managers. The team is organized into 4 squads, following SCRUM (Agile) framework.

We build and maintain the Enterprise Data Platform composed of:

• Oracle Data Warehouse with Data Vault 2.0 model
• Python/SQL and Talend data pipelines
• Power BI (cloud), SAP BO reporting environments
• Business, management, compliance, and regulatory reports
• Datalabs
• A Data Hub
• Data governance and data modeling tools.

In the coming years, we want to progressively migrate the Data Platform to a cloud solution.

We implement all reporting / data projects of the company (Regulatory, compliance, finance, sales, marketing, etc.)

Since 2025, we also manage the Data Platform and data projects for the whole Indosuez group.

Your position

As a data analyst or data engineer within the IT Data Division, you will contribute to the bank's digital transformation by helping to unlock the value of data. You'll be part of a dynamic team working closely with business units and technical experts.

Key responsibilities

• Understand internal stakeholders' data needs and translate them into IT specifications and solutions.
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports (Power BI)
• Clean, transform, and model data using SQL or Python
• Implement robust data pipelines
• Contribute to data governance, data quality, and data integration initiatives.
• Document data flows and models.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards, and business teams.

Do you have experience in Talend?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent., * Analytical mindset, attention to details.

• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand data and reporting related business challenges.
• Familiarity with Excel
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred skills and experience (not needed, but a plus)

• Knowledge of SQL and/or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)

Languages

• English: Professional working proficiency
• Dutch or French
