Job description
As a Junior Test Analyst, your mission is to ensure the quality and reliability of functional systems supporting banking operations, including digital applications. You will contribute to the validation of software applications by executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and compliant solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements., * Test Planning & Execution
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test cases based on functional specifications and business requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests across various banking applications.
- Document test results and report defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand system functionality and testing needs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Quality Assurance
- Support regression, integration, and user acceptance testing phases.
- Ensure compliance with internal QA standards and banking regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain clear and accurate test documentation.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues.
Requirements
Do you have experience in User acceptance testing?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or Engineering
- Strong communication skills
- First experience (internship or apprenticeship) in IT or financial services is a plus
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and good organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a structured software management environment.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of project tools is a plus
- Fluent in English and either French or Dutch
- Eligible for a VIE contract
