Job description

We're looking for a Factory Data Administrator to join our fast-paced chilled food manufacturing site in Middlesbrough. This is a key role at the heart of our operation - ensuring accurate, timely, and meaningful performance data is available to support decision-making and continuous improvement across the business., As KPI Data Inputter, you'll be responsible for collecting, validating, and reporting operational data across multiple departments including Production, Warehousing, Engineering, Technical, Stock Control, and Planning.

Your work will directly support performance monitoring, operational meetings, audits, and improvement initiatives - ensuring leadership teams have clear, reliable insight into how the site is performing.

  • Gather operational data from Production, Warehouse, Engineering, Technical, and Planning teams.
  • Accurately input daily KPI data into dashboards, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
  • Maintain KPI trackers covering:
  • Ensure all data is submitted on time and aligned to agreed KPI definitions.
  • Check data for completeness and accuracy.
  • Identify discrepancies and follow up promptly with relevant departments.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready historical records.
  • Ensure reporting errors are eliminated before circulation.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports.
  • Provide data for operational and management meetings.
  • Highlight trends, recurring gaps, and performance risks.

Requirements

Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working with data? Do you enjoy bringing clarity to numbers and helping teams improve performance?, * Experience in data input, data collection, or reporting - ideally within manufacturing or FMCG.

  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with dashboards and reporting systems.
  • Strong understanding of operational KPIs (output, downtime, waste, efficiency, service levels, stock accuracy).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge and follow up.
  • High levels of integrity and confidentiality.

Desirable

  • Experience in food manufacturing or chilled/temperature-controlled environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience supporting audits or regulatory reporting.
  • Ability to identify trends and improvement opportunities from data.
